Beaver watching tour - Bergslagen

Beaver Safari

We're visiting the beaver in very beautiful surroundings where we observe the beavers work of art with the food supply, refurbishing of the dam and repair jobs of the shelter. This delightful performance takes place in a distant location in the forests of Bergslagen.

As the day comes to an end and dusk falls we enter our canoes or rowing boats and travel silently not to disturb the wildlife. Our sharpened senses and intense search for any trace of Beaver eventually takes us to one of it´s well camouflaged nests. The scenery is idyllic with lush trees and the black water is like a big mirror. Suddenly ripples break the flat surface. The next moment a wet little creature appears on the shore right in front of you, the Beaver has arrived for it´s evening feeding
