Paddle, bicycle, & hiking in Malmcirkeln - Bergslagen

3-day and 25 km long canoe, bicycle, and hiking trip.
In
a canoe we paddle across the lake of Amanningen. An island in
the lake contains the worlds oldest oil refinery. A guided tour
around the island is included if wanted. The cape of Dunshammar
will be the next stop. There is an iron foundry from the iron
age located there.
From
Bodarne we will make our way to Trummelsberg on bicycles. It was
here, once upon a time, the iron ore was dragged by horses to
Trummelsberg where it was refined to pig iron. A guided tour in
this area is available if wanted.
From
Trummelsberg we will start our hike by foot on the the old trail
of Bruksleden which will take us to the top of Landsberget, the
highest point in Vastmanland. On a clear day the scenery up there
is astonishing.
