your friends to Ramnas smelting house where you will see, experience
and learn about the beautiful and unique art of glassblowing.
Ramnäs
Glass Studio has an environmentally friendly profile ranging from
the non-use of LPG, or any unnecessary chemicals, to recycling
all waste. All our collections are made of recycled glass (soda
glass). The recycled glass is more durable than other types of
glass, since it is developed for the production of bottles. Lena
and Carl work on developing the colour techniques of the glass
in order to raise its status in the art design world. To minimize
the environmental effects the glass is collected locally and then
refined and melted in the studio.

Price:
SEK 4 000 kr VAT included, SEK 3 200 VAT excluded. If more
people want to try blowing a glass; SEK 875 per person VAT
included, SEK 700 VAT excluded.
Included:
Lecture, exhibit, and one person will be allowed to try
to shape their own glass. Will take about 60 min.
Optional:
Accomodation at Schenstromska mansion or at Ulvsbomuren
Wilderness & Farmstay.
Other
things to do: Hiking, fishing, paddling, and many more.
